Terms of Service

Agreement
By installing or using the Accept Guardian Chrome extension ("the Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Extension and stop using it.
Provided "as is"
The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes, but is not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will detect every unsafe or malicious element on every web page.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Extension only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the Extension for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension
- Attempt to extract or misuse any backend API or data endpoint
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Extension
- Use the Extension to harm, harass, or deceive other users
- Redistribute or resell the Extension without written permission
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developers of Accept Guardian shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Extension.
This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of data, loss of profits, or any harm resulting from reliance on the Extension's safety assessments or warnings.
Intellectual property
All content, code, and assets included in the Extension remain the property of the Accept Guardian developers. Nothing in these terms grants you ownership of any intellectual property rights in the Extension.
Third-party services
The Extension communicates with a backend hosted on Netlify solely for the purpose of submitting anonymized analytics. Your use of the Extension is also subject to Netlify's Terms of Use and Google Chrome's Terms of Service. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party services.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. When we do, the revised version will be published at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
Termination
You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it from your browser. We reserve the right to discontinue or modify the Extension at any time without notice.
